Little N almost sang the whole alphabet song on his own tonight! SO CUTE. He was looking at a letter placemat and first I sang the whole thing, then I sang it and left pauses at a few letters for him to fill in, and then he did almost the whole one by himself. (He stopped at T.) And he was singing too. It was adorable. He is also really into numbers now.

What a sweet boy.

The girls and their friends Evelyn, Molly and Charlotte have come up with a team name for the Battle of the Books. They are… [drumroll]… The Fictionistas. Other names that ranked high on the list: Bookaholics, Red Hot Readers, Bibliomaniacs, Five in Fourth. I still wish it were That's What She Read.

The girls had a field trip to the Kennedy Center to see Alvin Ailey today. They liked it.

Little N is big enough to sit at the counter stools with the girls!
