Tonight was the premiere of the Warner Nutcracker. What a day! I got the girls from school at 11:30, and we headed downtown. They had a call time of noon for a 1PM dress rehearsal. After the dress rehearsal, I was walking down a nearby hall outside the theater when I ran into the Ruby cast soldiers practicing! So fortuitous. I videotaped their practice, and also got some great pics of the girls in costume.
The 7PM performance went well. Daddy and I were there, as were Grandma Sandy and her friends Ellie and Elsa. The girls did wonderfully and I was so proud that I cried. Here are the girls after the show.
I can't believe they have to perform again tomorrow night – we are all so tired. But adrenaline will kick in and do its job!
