Kidville

Today was Columbus Day, and all the kids were home. I took them to an open gym at Kidville in Bethesda, which is where I take N on Tuesday mornings. I wasn't sure if they would let the girls in, who are about 6 years older than most kids there. They didn't bat an eye, so I rushed all three of the kids into the playroom. The girls were fantastic! Not only did they help with N, they also played with a lot of other kids there, who seemed to gravitate towards them. One boy kept taking their hands and pulling them away so that they would play with him. I got a lot of compliments on the girls from other moms, who thought that they were not only very sweet but also great with the kids.

This afternoon, the girls had piano lessons at Grandma's house. Then M went to baseball practice and then Chug Ivrit. A just went to Chug Ivrit. N came grocery shopping with me, which slowed me down considerably because I had to keep kissing him every 10 feet or so.

We've been playing Apples to Apples every night – this will be night #3 in a row. It has been a lot of fun and the girls love it.
