“BRILLIANT!!!”

I have brilliant children.

The girls have been playing the violin and cello for literally one and a half hours, and each of them can already play a melody – Row Row Row Your Boat (M on cello) and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (A on violin).

And the little boy can do the following: 1) touch his nose on command; 2) lather his hair without prompting; 3) put magazines in the recycling without prompting; and 4) bring a book or truck on command; 4) point out the ball in the Olivia book; and 5) OCCASIONALLY say "Maddie" and "Alexa".

Tonight he and M were playing the cutest game. He kept going to her door and opening it, and she'd grab him and spin him around. Then he'd leave, she'd close the door, and he'd go back and open it. Then she started hiding behind the door and he'd always find her.

As Grampy would say, "They are BRILLIANT!!!"
