Yay – it's Friday! It has been a long week. And I am tired today because we went to to a concert at Wolf Trap last night and got home kind of late. But we're having a lovely Friday night because Sarah is here with us! We're having a nice time. The girls are showing her Family Game Night on TV and playing with her iPhone, talking to Siri.

Busy weekend ahead – baseball, voice lesson, Mother-Daughter book club, errands. Hopefully M's team will win their game tomorrow and they will then get to play again on Sunday.

Earlier this year, M & A had an art project at school where they had to photograph a building, then trace the outlines of the building from the picture, and then paint it. They both chose the Kennedy Center, and Grandma S. took them downtown to take photos of the building. They gave her the paintings that they made for her birthday last week. She scanned them in, and here they are:
