Today was a very big day for Daddy. It was Hillary's last day as Secretary of State, and she came and took photos with a number of her staffers. She came to SRAP and took a group photo with Daddy, and then she took him aside into her office and gave him a special award – the highest award that one can get in the State Department. It was a very big honor and she said a lot of nice things about him. The best part was that the girls were there and got to see him get the award! Daddy went and got them from school (and from home, where A was, because she missed a field trip) and they were there with him. Sadly, I had to go to NY for work today and missed it. I was very bummed to miss it but very proud of Daddy!

A is doing her monologue for her book report tomorrow; M is doing hers next week.
