We got an AWESOME email from A's teacher today. Here's what it says:

We
are currently working on our literature circles and I was able to place A  in a group with some of the top readers.  I think they definitely
challenge her, but she is doing a great job, as you knew she would. 
These groups will change again when we finish with the books they are
reading now, but she definitely likes to be challenged.  Thanks for
bringing that up. 

I also have to tell you that she always does a great job
working with her classmates on various activities in class.  I
complimented her after science today because she and her partner aren't
necessarily friends, but they really showed a lot of teamwork today and
last week on a math activity.  Just thought you might like to know.
