THis afternoon we decided to go to the zoo (along with a lot of other people in the metro DC area!). When we got there, we found out that Zoolights started tonight. So, we looked at some of the exhibits, then went and had an early dinner in Cleveland Park, and then came back to the zoo, which was dark by then. There were lights everywhere and the walkway through the museum was quite lovely. It was also a warm-for-November night, so it was just pleasant to be out.

N was a champ – he didn't sleep from 11 until 9:30 other than a catnap in his stroller on on the way to dinner and halfway through the meal. He wasn't fussy or cranky other than when he wanted to eat at the restaurant.

Tomorrow is the girls' first performance! We can't wait.
