Saturday Night

Here are some new developments –

  • 1. N has discovered his toes, which is very very cute. He loves to touch and hold them. He has also discovered, um, some other apendages.
  • 2. N is pretty much too big for the infant bathtub. We have to move him to another tub because the little dent that keeps him from sliding now is not big enough to hold him, so he just ends up lying down, which is a major safety hazard. We have another tub of the girls' in the basement which we will bring up for N.

Today we went to the girls' Parents Observation Day at ballet. They were great! They have a very strict but good teacher (who also has a good sense of humor). The girls are progressing very nicely and have learned a lot.The teacher singled each of them out at times to say that they had done something well.

We brought N with us, and he was VERY well-behaved. He fussed at one point, nursed and took a snooze, but was otherwise quite alert during the 75 minutes. He loves watching the girls dance, so watching 25 girls dance was even better! And he loved watching the teacher.

Today we had book club in the late afternoon and ordered Vietnamese food for dinner. After dinner we watched Matilda, one of the girls' favorite movies, on Netflix. I of course fell asleep – I don't think I have ever seen that movie all the way through.

Tomorrow is a crazy day, even by our standards:

11-1:30 – Sunday School

1-3: M's last baseball game

3-5: Nutcracker rehearsal

5-7: bowling birthday party
