Auditions

We are in limbo tonight.

Nutcracker auditions were held today. We are waiting to hear if the girls made it to callbacks tomorrow. We got an email yesterday saying that there are more kids registered to audition from Level I than there are roles for those kids, so not all kids will get a part. This is different from past years, when everyone who auditioned was basically guaranteed a role. So… we wait. The girls' group auditioned for three parts: party girls, mice, and soldiers. They thought it went well but they weren't sure. So, we should receive an email tonight telling us either what time to come back tomorrow OR that they weren't picked.

Here are the girls en route to auditions:

It is 10:21PM. Limbo.

In other news, Daddy is back from London. Yay!

N is wearing yellow polka dot pajamas tonight that are SO cute. They came with a silly yellow nightcap hat which I put on him for laughs but which isn't on anymore.

Yesterday N met his friend Brooks, who is my friend Lisa's (a long time P&B&B&B reader) new baby. Here they are:

Those are some of my favorite outfits in those pictures.

Special thank you to Grandma Sandy who helped me out last week when Daddy was away by bringing dinner two nights, helping with bathing the girls, hanging out, watching the debate, and playing lots of Jumbleline on the iPad.

Hopefully we will get good news from the ballet tonight!
