Jelly Bracelets

I think the girls could do with a little more structure in their days. Good think 6 weeks of camp kicks off on Monday! Today, M slept late while A was up early – slept in our room starting around 4AM so she was subjected to lots of crying by the Captain, who was up basically from 4-6. But she slept through a fair amount of it.

Once M got up, the girls watched a lot of One Direction videos on the iPad. M asked if they could have the One Direction CD for Hanukah. I ordered it for them today. I think it's cute that they are into them. They hung out for the next few hours – had lunch, practiced the piano, M taught A how to play chess, they held the baby, etc. But I think they are already bored. I am glad that they will have much busier days starting next week.

In the late afternoon, they went with Daddy to the Bethesda Pool. Unfortunately, there was "waste" in the pool and it closed the minute the girls were ready to get in. They were able to swim in the learning pool, and in the big pool after quite a while, but it was definitely annoying.

Right now we are watching the second Harry Potter movie, since A finished the book last night. M isn't into it, so she's playing on the iPad.

A few cute things…

1) The girls have been wearing bracelets for the last several weeks. M wears a Lafayette jelly bracelet and a SHALOM bracelet she got on the last day of Sunday School. She tops off the look with a few black ponytail holders:

2) We ordered some cute letters to hang over N's crib. They came a few days ago and Daddy hung them yesterday. They match the bedding perfectly:

N hasn't been sleeping too well at night, but he manages to sleep all day long. Sigh.
