A friend of mine ran into the girls with Dan on Saturday after he picked them up from ballet. She then relayed to me on email some of the entertaining things the girls said when she saw them. I thought I'd share the email here.

On topic of "excited about baby," A: "I am going to make him do things. Lots of things. And then I will put him in time out." Later, in a second conversation with [her husband], M: "I am going to put the baby in time out" and then, giggling, "I don't know who came up wtih that."

On topic of what are you picking for camp activities? M: "Typing!"

Dan mentioned his gov't salary (can't remember why), there was mention of the tooth fairy and then A jumped in and said "Yes! I am saving up for Sidwell." We all laughed and she said "Sidwell. It'll be fun."

Maybe it was their comedic timing or big eyed delivery but they are really funny.

And I finally figured out how to save photos as attachments (was a touchpad issue). Here are the pics from Grandma from the Kennedy Center on Friday night. The girls met one of the dancers from La Cage Aux Folles – he roams the crowd during intermissions, I guess? – and he agreed to make an exception and have his picture taken with the girls.
