Great progress on the family tradition projects last night. The girls wrote out long paragraphs on latkes and where their families came from, and we colored in maps to show the countries where our families are from and where Jews ate latkes to celebrate Hanukah - Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Austria, Romania, Belarus. Tomorrow we will add pics of Grandma Sandy making latkes and her recipe. And then we're done!
