Lucky had his exam at the vet today. She says that he is in perfect health. She guessed that he is around 1 1/2 years old, so we gave him a birthday: 2/14/10. He is now microchipped and is current on heartworm preventative. He is also current on the rest of his shots. He is 17.1 pounds.

M had a baseball game today and did great! I came during her second inning, but Daddy and Imogene were there from the beginning. She was at bat twice and connected with the ball on her first try both times. She also made some good plays at first base.

M has to memorize this poem:

Who has seen the wind? Neither I nor you.

But when the trees hang trembling, the wind is passing through.

Who has seen the wind? Neither you nor I.

But when the trees bow down their heads, the wind is passing by.

Needless to say she has already memorized it, after one day.

The girls also had very good piano lessons today.
