Last night after work, I took the girls to Broad Branch Market for ice cream. We got there right when it closed – 8PM – and after they ate their cones (mint chip for A and mango sorbet for M), we went to the playground where the girls played a few rounds of hide-and-seek. Then we walked home and talked to Chris and Laurie on their porch for a while (Aidan, of course, was already in bed asleep), and didn't get home until 9PM. I love those late summer sunsets!
Here are some pics I took on my phone:
Tonight we are celebrating Grandma Sandy's birthday, a night early.
Here are some "how to" lists that A wrote at school yesterday. I am not going to correct any spelling mistakes. Too cute.
How to play bubble swurt
1. Blow bubbles.
2. Get some seeds.
3. Try to atach one of the seeds to the bubble.
4. Buy balloons.
5. Get a magnet and attach the balloons to the ground.
6. Try to get the bubble and the seed to pop the balloons.
(I don't really get it, but it sounds fun!)
2. How to make a coverd frog
Ingetients

(Adorable.)
This was a fun blog to read. I love M and A’s recipes for making different things. Adorable. Beautiful photos.
Love,
