The Weekend By The Numbers

It really felt like summer this weekend. We did a lot of fun stuff outside, which is the focus of this week's By The Numbers.

Items planted in the backyard: 3 window boxes of impatiens (bye bye pansies), basil, sage, tomato stalks, onion seeds, pumpkin seeds, assorted flower seeds.

Trips taken with teachers: 1, by M, with her teacher and two other kids, to the zoo (won in the Lafayette auction). She had a great time.

Sleepovers: 1, at Grandma Sandy's. See pics below!

Day trips taken: 1, to Chesapeake Beach. We had a great time! Went to a waterpark and to the beach, less than 60 minutes away door to door. Fun, relaxing day!

Mani/pedis: 2 (me and A today while M was away)

Treats: Ice cream at Chesapeake Beach, YogiBerry today.

Pairs of shoes bought for M for Rachel's bat mitzvah: 3 pairs. Hopefully the third time will be the charm.

Approximate number of sunblock cans bought at Target: 15

Pages left of book club book: 80

Birthday party invites received: 1, for Agnes' party next weekend

Grandma sent me some cute pics from the sleepover but I am having some technical details and can't download them. Will try tomorrow! She gave A some clip-on earrings that look SO MUCH like pierced earrings – it's very funny to see her in them!

Update – I was able to open one pic – it's great! And you can see the earrings.

Mommy, how do you manage to do all the things you do? You are amazing! Love the photo of M with the earrings. Thanks for sharing.
