Tonight after work we went to a Nats game with some of Daddy's colleagues. It was a beautiful night – low 70s – and a very short game. In the end, the Nationals won – shocking! The girls enjoyed being there, even though we tried to go to the playground there and it was closed, like it ALWAYS is when we finally get around to walking over to it! They followed the game a little more closely than in other years, and I tried to explain things like "the count", "the windup", the strike zone, and the difference between a hit and a run.
