Westward Bound

We've had a very busy and productive first two days of vacation.

Yesterday, the girls got ADORABLE haircuts (complete with curls), and we cooked our seder all afternoon. We made charoset, brisket, carrot tzimmes, kugel, and asparagus. (Ordered the soup.) Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron brought tons of desserts from NY, as always. We had a very low-key seder. M found both afikomens and the girls got pop-up fable books and a 500 piece US states puzzle. Also, yesterday I got my car serviced. The battery is apparently fine. Whatever.

Today, we had piano lessons from Grandma, did some more errands – got Daddy's car serviced, got the girls new sandals, and went to Mme. Tussaud's wax museum. The girls really enjoyed it. (Vegas and London's are better). Lots of photos at the end of the post.

Tomorrow we are off to San Francisco! We can't wait. Here's what we are planning to bring for the plane ride: 3 sticker books, iCarly on the iPad, some new apps and games on the iPad, some TV shows on CD from Sarah, and I Spy on the computer. Oh, and some books.
