I got some potentially (very) bad news this morning about Allie. I had a hard time getting through work today, so I left early and came home to pick her up. I took her to the playground to surprise the girls. They were VERY surprised! A said to M, "Look, there's a basenji!" M said, "Yeah, that IS a basenji. Wait, that's Mommy!" They paraded Allie around the playground very happily, and A took her for a walk around the baseball diamond. It was very cute.
They don't know that anything is wrong with Allie – will tell them when it is necessary.
Here are some pics:
(Allie was cold, so A wanted to put her fleece jacket on her.)
So sorry to hear about potentially bad Allie news – that’s hard. Glad you cut out early and enjoyed the afternoon. Do it more often. 🙂
I’m so sorry about Allie. You did a very nice thing bringing her to the girls. It’s something they will always remember. I know how sad you must feel.
Love,
Aunt Ann
