Resolutions and Wishes and Abigail

M will be speaking next Thursday for the school announcements. The announcements are read from the office and broadcast into all of the classrooms. She is supposed to talk about EITHER her New Year's Resolutions OR self-discipline. I am very excited to hear her read!

Tonight, A had to write two dreams that she has for the country or her school, inspired by Martin Luther King, Jr. She wrote "I wish that guns and cigarettes and oil spills and burglars and hurricanes and tornados do not exist. I wish that everyone would live forever."

Abigail came over after school today because her babysitter couldn't come. She stayed until 7:30. It was so much fun to hang out with her when I got home from work. She is a very sweet girl and she and M and A have so much history together. She was helping A do cartwheels tonight, and they put on a few "shows", which consisted of them doing cartwheels. There were lots of hugs and kisses when she left – though of course she will see A in class tomorrow AM.

Tomorrow is a half day and spelling tests and Friday.

What an awesome dream, A — I’d second that. 🙂

Gayle and Dan, how very proud both of you must be of M and A. They are so special, so talented, so beautiful,so sweet and so intelligent. I’m proud to be their aunt.
Love,
Aunt Ann
