Amazon Packages

A few weeks ago, some catalogs came from toy stores. I had the girls (well, only M participated) go through and identify which things she liked for potential Hanukah presents. It's so cute to see what she picked. There are a lot of inappropriate toys in terms of age range (some for very little kids, some for older kids), and some things I just wouldn't buy, but in general she picked some really great stuff. Lots of creative and fun things. I went to Amazon and ordered a number of things of the girls, and they came yesterday. Great stuff! I am so excited to give it all to them! Daddy opened all the boxes and it was a lot of fun. In addition to that stuff, I made M a book of all of the photos she has taken since she got her camera last May, and am in the middle of a book of selected artwork of A's. So excited. And, I think we are going to get the girls a little fish tank too.

Today the girls performed their patriotic songs for the 2nd and 3rd grade. Apparently it went fine. Both girls said they got 100% on their spelling tests too. M's challenge words today: feast, Thanksgiving, ostrich, yesterday, tomorrow.

Busy, busy weekend ahead. Lots of rehearsals, and dinner for Grampy's birthday, which is on Sunday. Mother-daughter book club on Sunday too.

M and A are so lucky to have such wonderful, giving and loving parents. How nice that you are ready for the holiday gift-giving.
Enjoy it all.
Love,
Aunt Ann
