Veteran’s Day

I was in Philly and NY this week, and I am now back at home. Very happy to be home. The girls didn't have school today for Veteran's Day. In the morning, they had a playdate with Hannah. Then, in the afternoon, A went to the birthday party at the pottery place that M wasn't invited to. M had a playdate with her friend Gemma, and Daddy took them to a different pottery place. So everyone was happy!

The girls also had a performance yesterday at school for Veteran's Day. They were to wear red, white and blue, and they sang patriotic songs and recited a patriotic story as well. A's line was about people being free when they came to America by boat, and M's was about the symbolism of the eagle.

The girls have had some other good playdates this week. Yesterday Julia came over, and the day before that, Lucy came over. From what I have heard, all went OK. M usually complains that Lucy won't play with her, but I think it all went well, because A complained about being left out. The Julia and Hannah playdates apparently went well too, which is good because word is that Hannah has been saying that she isn't friends with the girls anymore. 1st grade drama!

Some cute notes to share tomorrow!

M and A certainly keep busy with lots of friends. It’s great that they have good friends and great playdates.
