Lots of Halloween celebrating this week and weekend. Yesterday was the Halloween parade at the girls' school, and then the class parties. They had an early dismissal, and then last night they had a "half-sleepover" party at their friend Emily's house (went from 5:30-8:30). Then today, there was no school, and they had a Halloween party at their friends Molly and Eve's house.
Tomorrow – ballet class and Nutcracker rehearsal, and on Sunday – Nutcracker rehearsal. They are allowed to wear their costumes to ballet, and they will be dismissed at 6 PM for trick-or-treating. Tomorrow is pumpkin carving day!!
Here are some pictures from yesterday – before school, the parade at school, and the class parties.
Every year I think the girls couldn’t possibly have cuter costumes the next year, and each year they outdo themselves. I LOVE the Flower Power and Dororthy costumes, and being able to see them in the Halloween parade was amazing — a real slice of Americana.
Both girls look adorable in their costumes. I’m sure they will have a great time at all the parties and with the “begging”. Enjoy.
Love,
Aunt Ann
