I am on the train to NY and already missing the girls. A had PE today (so she wore sneakers, and also a dress (not encouraged)), and M had music yesterday (she got a certificate for being best in the class and got some crayons as a little treat). M's new lunchbox – replacing her broken new lunchbox – arrived today. She will be very happy to see it when she gets home.

The big news is… our counters are in! All of them! They look great. Supposedly, new windows will go in tomorrow, backsplash will be installed, and sink/dishwasher will be hooked up. Will believe it when I see it…
