N had a snow day for no reason at all today. It was supposed to snow this AM, but it didn't. It didn't even rain. So after declaring today a delayed start last night, MCPS canceled school altogether this AM. What a waste. N slept in and then had a playdate at Ayan's with Ayan and Lowell in the afternoon. He seemed to be in good spirits, though. After work we went to Trader Joe's together. I spent more than double what I usually spend when I go solo. He saw lots and lots of things he wanted me to buy, and I got pretty much all of it.

We had a comfort food dinner tonight- tomato soup with goldfish and challah, and tater tots.

A has a big audition tomorrow for the acting BFA program at Michigan. Break a blue leg, A!
