Yesterday before school I told N that his clothes didn't match. He said, "Do you really think that I care? Do you really think that anyone cares?"

Nope. I don't.

We had N's parent-teacher conference today. It was Dad's first time in the school so that was nice. All went well; N is testing way ahead of the standard and is doing well in ELA. Things to work on: use more action verbs in his writing and try not to be distracted by his friend group at school. We were giving him a hard time by asking him about how he was feeling about things; he hates that and refused to answer. His teacher thinks he is very humorous, which we agree with!

We are going out for a nice dinner with Grandpa Ron and Grandma Dina tonight. N has had a lot of fun playing chess with Grandpa and reading books with Grandma.

Almost Thanksgiving! The kids are done with school for the week.
