Short post tonight. Cranky girls – especially M. I aimed for an 8:15 bedtime but due to fussing and lots of stalling by A, I didn’t have them in bed til 8:36. And then M was so tired that she became that most frustrating type of irrational – pushing me, complaining about everything I did, not talking to me. I think I handled it OK – calmly walked away. Didn’t let her get me angry. Just told her it was time for bed and that if she didn’t want to be nice, then I was going to go downstairs. 3 minutes later she was calling for a kiss and hug.

Sigh.

These long days with no nap are exhausting the girls. 8:15 bedtime might even be too late.

Looking into some playdates for the weekend. Many hours to fill!
