We are home! We had a great weekend in Brooklyn celebrating Darrah and Jason’s wedding. I will put some photos up here as soon as I can. The girls were beautiful flower girls and the weekend was a ton of fun. Here’s what I will remember from the weekend:
- Dancing, dancing, dancing last night. The hora, the dance for the parents who have married off their last child, M dancing and dancing late last night.
- The girls laughing hysterically as they came down the aisle. They claim that they were talking about a friend who is very funny, but they didn’t know who it was. Regardless, it cracked everyone up.
- The lovely (but chilly!) outdoor ceremony and Darrah reminding Rabbi Jim that he hadn’t done the breaking of the glass yet.
- Toasts on Friday night.
- Tuvana reading in the ceremony.
- A dropping rose petals the whole way from the ceremony to the reception, so that everyone would know how to find their way.
- Those adorable flower girl dresses.
- Sleeping with Darrah the night before her wedding in her QUIET suite at the Marriott in Brooklyn – what an honor to be with a bride the night before she gets married.
- Jason being so cute with the girls, as always.
- Darrah’s beautiful dress and the clips in her hair.
- Photos at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge (it was an all-Brooklyn affair).
- Trick or treating in Brooklyn – what an experience! I missed DC but it was a good substitute.
Photos as soon as I can. In the meantime, I will borrow one:
I’m sure M and A were adorable flower girls. They are so lovely and so sweet. I’m glad you enjoyed the wedding. I’m anxious to see the photos.
Love,
Aunt Ann
