Busy day for the girls today! Daddy took them to drama class this morning and then to Taste of Bethesda with a friend from class. They got to see lots of dancers from other countries and even danced on stage. Then they went to the playground, and then came home, where I was waiting for them. We did some sweeping outside and drawing on the sidewalk, and then it was off biking. They biked 2 miles in Rock Creek Park! "Biking" means M riding her bike 4x as fast as A, and me pushing A on her bike, either using her handlebars or on her back. She did pedal much of the way, though I am not sure she stopped talking the entire two miles. M would ride far ahead and then wait, then ride far ahead and then wait. She is such a big girl.
We stopped in a Buppie’s for a very quick visit and then headed home for dinner.
The girls have to get up early tomorrow because Daddy is bringing them downtown to watch me in a race! I can’t wait to see all of them. Grampy is going to join them too to cheer me on.
Something very mature that M said today: "When I am old and can’t walk, I will remember when I was a little girl."
Did you run the Army ten-miler Gayle? Wow! How was it??
This was an active day for you, daddy, and the girls. They’re growing up so fast.
Love,
Aunt Ann
Teha – I did! Can you believe it? It was really fun. A beautiful race – have you run it?
Ann – thanks for all the comments!!
