We are at Buppie’s for a sleepover. The girls are sleeping in my old room. They have been calling for me a lot. Sensing my growing exhaustion, Buppie just went up and dealt with the most recent request. (A had to go to the bathroom). We are having a nice evening and the girls were very excited to come over for a sleepover. After work we packed up – books for tonight, toothbrushes, babas for the morning, band-aids, toothpaste, Allie’s bowls. And now here we are. As for me, I’m doing what I always do – working on the computer – just on a different sofa. Watching Obama accept the nomination. I hope for all of our sakes that this is just the first official step toward an Obama presidency.

I hope it’s an easy night!

PS The girls have been pretending that they are gymnasts. A is Shawn Johnson and M is Nastia Liukin. (sp?)
