A few things have happened over the last few days that I had to write down to remember for the blog.
Today, M said to me, "I want Addie to come over and play again. She’s cute."
Tonight at dinner, A put the top of a raspberry on her fingertip, then bit off half of it, and waved her finger at me and said, "Look! It’s someone with red hair!!"
I asked the girls today about camp. I wanted to know whether, when the Sailors class divides up for activities, M&A stay together or go in different groups. They said that they usually go in different groups. They were very matter-of-fact about it.
Last night, we went over to our new next door neighbor’s house so that we could meet the new dog that has moved in. Her name is Bella and she is an 8 month old yellow lab. The girls got very shy over there. It may have been because the dog had an injury next to her ear and she was wearing a cone.
M keeps thanking me for buying her things, like books that she likes or popcorn or other foods from the grocery store. It’s so sweet.
A has been a bit of a drama queen lately. Lots of tears and grand pronouncements. A couple of tantrums.
In the small world department, Emily is one of Hannah M.’s counselors at camp!!
As you already know, M and A are so clever and adorable. They are really growing up in the best way possible, because they have such wonderful, loving and giving parents.
Love,
Ann
Hannah adores Emily (and Sarah feels as though she is leaving Hannah in exceptionally good hands every day!).
