The girls had a busy day today. First, we went for a pedicure with Imogene at her nail salon. M&A wanted their nails to look just like Imogene’s nails. And they do! Dark maroon-ish nail polish, with a multicolored design on the big toe. Their nails look great! Thank you Imogene for the treat.

Then it was off to Ale’s birthday party. Dora moonbounce. Very hot. Lots of whining. Meh. (But cute photos.)

Then we went swimming and had an early dinner with some friends in Potomac. Lots of fun.
Two funny things that remind me that we have daughters growing up with technology. First, tonight, A picked a bedtime book that was too long to read in one sitting. After we read the evening’s allotment, she showed me that she had dogeared the page we had gotten to, and told me that she wanted to "pause" the book. Then M asked to type an email on my Blackberry. She said that she wanted to send it "to all of the animals who sleep on my bed". Here is the note:
