We’re putting the finishing touches on M&A’s annual birthday CD. I think this year’s is the best so far (it’s the third one). Good mix of kids’ and grown-up stuff. (And by "grown-up", of course I mean mostly ’80s.) The girls did some excellent dancing to it tonight – it was like one of those improv routines where you shout out new genres every 10 seconds and the dancers have to switch how they’re dancing. Tonight, it was "kids happy music!", "classical!", "cheesy 90s!", "techno!", etc. Of course my camera ran out of battery right in the middle of it. Maybe they will repeat it tomorrow night.
Books tonight: Ella Sarah Gets Dressed and Katy No-Pocket.
Tomorrow is Special Visitors Day at school. Buppie, Imogene and I are going. There is an art show and then a tour of the classroom. The girls are very excited.
The girls are wonderfully athletic, and always smiling. Such beauties.
