I am on a trip to NY for a conference tonight and tomorrow night. Daddy sent me an email tonight about a bunch of funny things M&A said and did tonight. Here they are:
- The girls helped me put eyedrops in my eyes by holding my feet as I lay on the sofa, and then counting with me up to 100.
- We played Zengo.
- We talked abt Egypt, which the girls saw in a Little Einsteins video in Florida.
- A made up a long story about one of her animals in Egypt riding on a camel.
- We read books — Animals in the Desert, and Zin Zin Zin! (which the girls still remember unbelievably) — and then M remembered that we met Paul and Hugh at the orchestra.
- We did rhymes — A suggested ‘dingo’ and ‘flamingo’ and then ‘boss’ and ‘sauce,’ and when I asked what ‘boss,’ was, she said, "Like Nana’s the Boss!"
- We read Mommy’s notes, which were a big hit, although A insisted on being asked what pajamas she was wearing, which Mommy asked in M’s note but not in A’s.
- They brushed teeth, and A said "I want Mommy to brush my teeth," — and then she said "Just joking!"
- M asked if I could snuggle with her twice, since you weren’t there.
Soooo cute. Daddy is doing a great job but I miss them!
M and A are so lucky to have such a wonderful daddy who does so many fun things with them.
