This morning, we had a lovely Sunday morning playdate with two girls from M & A’s class and their moms. They stayed for lunch – mac and cheese, hotdogs, and carrots/hummos (see, it’s not all unhealthy!) and headed home around 1:15.

It’s always interesting to see M & A interact with other kids. I am always curious to see if they stick together (they don’t), if they seem to be equally close to the other kids (they do), and of course, whether they are behaving as well at the other kids (they usually are). A needed a few time-outs during the playdate (something we almost never do) and M was a *bit* bossy, but otherwise it went smoothly.

I went out tonight before the girls had dinner (sshhh… took a plane to Detroit… but they don’t know that) and the kisses I got from the girls before I left were just the sweetest, most priceless things in the world.

I miss them.
