We had another busy day here in Corolla. Swimming, walking on the beach, napping, making french toast, reading some books. Barney (yuck!), flying the kite, some tears, making a cake for Aunt Darrah’s birthday, spaghetti and sauce, and a very late bedtime.

M loves to read this one book with lots of pictures of everyday objects in it, including food. Tonight, she wanted to discuss what I want on my birthday (which is 3 months away) based on the photos in the book. Do I want marshmallows? Cupcakes? Jellybeans? A really big lollipop? Do I like cake better than cupcakes? She knows I can’t eat chocolate, so she wanted to know what kind of cake I wanted.

The girls took their PJ’s off tonight to eat the spaghetti so that they wouldn’t make a mess.

They will both be very sad when Grandma Buppie and Grandma/pa Dina and Ron leave tomorrow. (As will we.).

Thankfully Darrah and Jason are staying one more night.
