We are all in different places tonight! M is away for the weekend with her friend group on the Eastern Shore. N and Daddy are home in DC. And A and I drove to Pittsburgh today to see Carnegie Mellon. We got here around 6, drove to the campus and then drove around Pittsburgh a little. Tomorrow AM we will go back and walk around the campus. Pittsburgh is a cool city – unlike anyplace else we've seen before. It's hilly like SF, sort of funky like Seattle, and has big beautiful homes near campus like St. Louis. Tonight we got ramen soup near Pitt and then stopped at Insomnia Cookies en route back to the hotel. It's challenging taking the Tesla on a road trip as we spend a lot of time trying to find a charger, charging the car, or worrying about how/where to charge. Right now it is parked next door to the hotel in a Tesla charging station in the convention center parking lot. It's charging very slowly tonight. Today we stopped at a charging station on the highway that was much faster, though – almost a full charge in 30 mins.
Daddy and N played baseball for a while at Triangle Park today. Tomorrow N will go to baseball practice in the AM and then spend some time with Grandma Sandy. And yesterday we went to a Nats game with Grampy – in the rain – where the Nats lost to the Brewers. Not the best game by a long shot. The Nats, by the way, suck.
So that's Memorial Day Sunday!
