M Is A Semifinalist!

I haven't posted in a while, mostly because nothing terribly exciting is happening. It has been a very long week of… the usual. The main excitement is that N is going back to school on Monday, in person. Tonight we watched a video about the school reopening, with a video of how he will get in to the building, where the bathrooms are, etc. He's never been in the school before so it's all new to him. We are so excited for him.

The weather was gorgeous today, which was nice. A went to school and M worked in the backyard for most of the day.

The nice weather is bringing hopes of spring and maybe some new freedoms and activities. We shall see.

OH WAIT HERE IS WHAT I WAS GOING TO POST LAST NIGHT!!!! MADDIE IS A SEMIFINALIST FOR THE DILLER PRIZE!!

Dear Maddie,

On behalf of the Helen Diller Family Foundation and the Awards Co-Chairs, thank you for your leadership and commitment to tikkun olam (repairing the world).

We are happy to share that you have been named a Semifinalist for your leadership role with Voter Mobilization Initiative (VMI)Your application will now continue to the next phase of review, including a phone call with a Tikkun Olam Awards staff member. Prior to the call, you will receive an email to schedule the conversation.

Over the coming weeks, the Awards Committee will identify the 2021 Finalists, to be announced in April. The Selection Committee will then consider all Finalist applications and carefully select up to ten Awardees for the National Awards. All applicants and Awardees will be notified in early June.
