N and I did two adventures this weekend. Yesterday we drove to the Mormon Temple, the one that you see when you're heading west on the Beltway and that signifies that you're almost home. We couldn't get very close to it but we drove around and saw it from a number of angles. On the way home, we were near Cole's and decided to drive by his house "just in case he's outside". We drove by… and he was! He was waiting to go to a soccer game. Then today we went to Theodore Roosevelt Island. We were directly across from Rosemarie's apartment and called Grampy, and he came outside and went to the edge of the Potomac, and waved to us! He was a tiny red dot but we saw him wave and he saw us wave from the edge of TR Island. We hiked the circumference of the island and then headed home. It's always cool to see DC from the middle of the Potomac.
A and M each had social weekends. They each hosted their friend groups in our backyard – A Fri and M Sat. The weekend was quite cold but at least we are getting closer to spring.
N has almost no school this week – tomorrow off, Tu and Wed asynchronous, Thursday online and then Friday off. BUT he is going back to school on Monday, which is great news. And A will be going every day starting April 12.
