Rosh Hashanah

It's Rosh Hashanah tonight. We "celebrated" by having dinner at the kitchen table and watching services online, but we were interrupted halfway through by the news that RBG had died today. It made the services feel a lot less relevant and we had a hard time focusing after that.

Daddy made an apple honey cake to celebrate the new year, and it was delicious.

This was a long week – the first full week for all three kids. They all worked really hard and earned a break this weekend.

A had her first driving lesson with Bridget today. Both M&A like her a lot. She's great – she actually had A drive back here rather than at the meeting spot so that I didn't have to go pick her up.

Meanwhile the '06 is back in the shop for the second time in two weeks. Damn engine light keeps going on. Instead of an engine light, they should just flash $$$ signs, because that's all that light ever means.

Grandma is recovering from a procedure on her knee. She is in some discomfort so we're hoping she feels better very soon.
