Passover

Yesterday was the first night of Passover. When I woke up, I was pretty sure I wasn't going to make a seder dinner, but of course, I made a seder dinner. I made slow cooker beef stew, charoset, soup (Grandma Sandy made us matzo balls!), green beans and blondies. Daddy procured a chocolate cake and macaroons from Breadfurst. We mad matzo (leftover from last year!) and Manichewitz, so the whole thing felt like a real seder. N has been growing parsley that he planted in Sunday School, so we had that too. Even some leftover horseradish in the fridge.

We Zoomed with the whole Feldman family plus Grandma Sandy and Leslie Milstein, and we ran through some of the highlights of the seder (4 questions, Had Gad Ya, Who Knows One, etc.). Then we had our own seder at home and Zoomed Grandma Sandy the whole time with a guest visit from Tequila. We had too much to eat and ate outside and it was a nice change from our usual eating in the kitchen.

Today someone other than the 5 of us crossed the threshold, the first time in a long time. Our refrigerator wasn't cooling so we had to bring in a repairman. We sealed off the kitchen and removed everything in it while he was here. It was a pain but I think we maintained a pretty clean environment. And now our fridge is fixed, which was really stressing us out.

Not much to report from today. Weird weather that was windy and cold and rainy and then sunny and bright. M did half a bootcamp class with me and recorded her doing it for her PE class.

It has been a long week. Some pics from yesterday:
