Day 6

Today wasn't the most productive day for N, but it was for the girls. They both had homework to do and spent most of the day in their rooms working. And now they are on Spring Break! Yay! Oh, right.

N needs some structure. Most of his day is now spent in some combination of watching Science Mom livestreams on FB, playing chess on the iPad or Merge Plane on my phone, playing baseball outside, watching game shows with Nana, or doing one page of math worksheets. Not the most edifying. We need to work on that.

He has seen two excellent movies: Fantastic Mr. Fox (finally, a tolerable Wes Anderson movie) and Best In Show.

Today I surprised the kids with nachos for lunch. They were a hit.

N and I went on a walk in RCP at a social distance from Andrew and Debra. Probably the last time we do that for a while. A TSRS and Lafayette family that lived down the street from our old house has coronavirus – ugh. Their daughter is N's friend Alice, who he used to be best friends with but doesn't really hang out with anymore.

Tonight N set up a scavenger hunt for himself in the living room. Not so fun when you know where everything is hidden. So I then took over and hid the little squares of paper for him, which was much better.

M went for another bike ride today.

Ok, time for bed. Tomorrow is Friday, which means another day of work but then a few days "off" in the house where I can do organizing projects instead of email.
