Day 4

Day 4 of social distancing was a little less fun than Day 3, perhaps because reality is setting in and perhaps because Imogene didn't come.

N did NOT do any math or reading or anything intellectually edifying other than begrudgingly dial into the Science Mom live feed on FB for about half an hour. He did, however, sit through an entire State of the Snap (90 minutes!), and had a cameo on camera during my update. He got a lot of cute comments in the feed.

He played a little ball with M and Daddy at different points and walked Lucky with me once.

It is Lucky's birthday! He's 10. Poor pup had no fanfare at all.

We are contemplating buying a trampoline. We've already bought a freezer chest.

We are NOT going to the Outer Banks next week. It turns out the Outer Banks doesn't want to host (and feed) thousands of quarantined DMVers with possible exposure to coronavirus. Can't say I blame them.

M&A start distance learning tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.

M&A rode their bikes to their friend Maya's house (she of the recently summoned home from semester abroad in Israel). They brought her birthday brownies, which is a lot more than they did for the dog they've known for a decade.

A is hopefully getting her learner's permit tomorrow. We're trying to get in there before they shut down the MVA.

Good times.
