TS Sunday School is a weird place. First, on Sunday, when Daddy went to pick up N, the teacher told him that they had accidentally left N on the playground when they went in from their recess. She was incredibly upset. I am not saying that it was no big deal at all, but the playground adjoins the school, there is no public road anywhere nearby, and all he had to do was go up to the door, get the guard's attention, and walk (inside) to his classroom. N oddly didn't want to talk about it at all after it happened, but when I pried, I still didn't get the sense he was that upset about it. He told Daddy that thinking about it made him upset because then it sounded scary, but I don't think it WAS scary for him when it happened.
Then we get this email from them today:
Dear Daniel & Gayle,
On Monday, we celebrate Tu B’shevat, the new year of trees. In observation and celebration of Tu B’shevat, on Sunday Nathaniel will have a choice of tree fruits as a snack. Students will be able to choose which fruits they will or will not taste. The fruit options are: apples, clementines, peaches, plums, pears, bananas, and pomegranates.
If you have any concerns about Nathaniel tasting these foods, please reply and let us know.
No, no concerns.
We are in the middle of a busy week. M has a million projects and applications due. A is working on an English paper. Daddy had hours due yesterday which is an all-night affair. So we're all tired.
Off to pick up M from climbing.
