Erev Daddy’s Birthday

Tomorrow is a big day in our house!

First and foremost, it is Daddy's birthday! Happy birthday Daddy!!

Second, it is the day we go to NY to take A to AMDA! Her first day there is Sunday. We are driving to NY in the morning, having dinner with Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron, and then going to see Oklahoma. Grandpa Ron is going to take care of N so that we can go to the show. Then on Sunday AM we will drop her off at her dorm on the upper west side.

Tonight we've been packing and getting A ready for NY. It's a little easier than M's packing – no bug spray or flashlights – but she is going to be living in a dorm and needs things like sheets and towels. Quarters for laundry! Hopefully the character shoes we ordered will arrive tomorrow AM before we leave.

A spent today going shopping with her friend Alden. She went to her favorite store – Brandy Melville – and got lots of shirts.

Today was N's last day of Zoo camp. He said it was "pretty fun", which for N is high praise.

And we got 2 letters from M today! It sounds like camp is going really well and she's having a lot of fun. It's busy and tiring but she's really enjoying it.

Nats lost tonight, and yesterday, which is just annoying. Both times they had moments of brilliance and a terrible bullpen.

OK, we're all beat. Daddy is asleep in N's bed as usual and I am blogging and will write M a letter. Watching "The 80s – the Decade That Made Us" on Nat Geo. Bliss.
