Tonight we went down to the Mall at 10PM to see the 50th anniversary moon landing show on the Washington Monument. It was a bit difficult to get there but we made it and got to see the show. It was very cool.

The kids spent a lot of the day in the pool today, which felt great because it was almost 100 degrees. M had some friends over in the afternoon and N had a playdate with Nathan G., who goes to Rosemary Hills. Regardless of what happens next year, it's a nice connection for them.

M is leaving for camp on Monday! I am happy for her because she loves it there, but I am sad for me because I will be Maddie-less for three weeks. We have a lot to pack and buy and organize tomorrow!
