The Reds WON THE MCLL 12U CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!

This was a great season. They started out slow, with a losing record, but coalesced as a team and got steadily better. Their pitching was lights out in many games. The kids were all kind to each other. The coaches were not assholes. Everyone had fun, and it showed. And their teamwork got them to the finals, and now to being champions. Today they were up 7-1, then the Red Sox closed the gap to 7-6, and then the Reds scored three runs in the top of the 6th. B6 was a 1-2-3 inning and the boys all went home with trophies.

So happy for Nate and his team. He had a fantastic catch in the first inning that prevented several runs. I think he was the hero of the game. 🙂
