This was a very busy weekend, but also filled with enjoyable stuff.
Yesterday was the MCPOM Consignment Sale. M came with me and volunteered in the morning as my detagger. We had fun, as always. But it was a very early morning and there were a few stretches when we weren't that busy so we got sleepy. We picked up a few fun things for N too. I always love doing the sale with M!
A had Studio Theatre and N had swimming lessons, and then they had to go to City Center with Daddy to get his car started by AAA because it died the night before. Ironically, once he got home, M went BACK to CityCenter with the guy that we carpool to Studio with, so he was there twice in a few hours! They went to see the Obama portraits and walked around the Portrait Gallery.
Thank you to M&A for babysitting for N last night so Daddy and I could go out to dinner with friends.
Today, N had a jam-packed day. He went to the Purim Festival at TS and then his first baseball practice. He says he hated it, but he really did well. He hit the ball a few times. He needs to learn how to catch.
It was also the Nats draft this morning- Baseball Is Coming!
A went to Takoma Park to do a BBYO bake sale. She was amazed by the number of hippies, and she swapped 3 Safeway brownie bites for a large container of pickled ginger.
This afternoon we unpacked the basement into the new shelves, and it looks good!
We leave for Key West on Tuesday, so a lot to do between now and then.
