Weekend Wrapup

I haven't posted in a while because I was traveling and then this weekend was busy!

M was at the FMG (Feminisms for Those Marginalized by Gender) retreat all weekend. They were on Capitol Hill in a townhouse for Friday-Saturday nights. She had a very good time. We missed her a lot and are glad that she is home!

A had rehearsal today and theater class yesterday (which she doesn't love, and would like to change classes). ITW is coming together. She is off book. They have 2 more weeks of rehearsal and then it's the show! Crazy!

Grandma spent a lot of time with A and N this weekend. She picked up N from school on Friday because it was Imogene's birthday and she had the day off. Then she babysat for N last night when we went out to dinner. And she babysat for N again tonight because we went to see Admissions, an excellent play at Studio Theatre. We are very grateful for all of the babysitting!

Tonight, Grandma and N made a still life and then drew it. We are very impressed with what they created.

Other things that happened this weekend: brunch with some White House Fellows, dinner with Hermans/Pollacks/Galpers, some baseball playing (N and Daddy), swim lessons, Bryce Harper to the Phillies (boo!), visit from Tuvana, games of Guess Who and Rummikid, movie watching (Ratatouille and Juliet, Naked (my new favorite movie of all time)), SNL, and A stomach bug (ugh!).

Here are the WHFs, 20 (!) years later:
