Exhausting day for everyone!
A: Woke up and went to her first acting class at Studio Theatre. Verdict is still out on this – she didn't love it. We'll see if it improves. Then she came home and had a short rest and then went off to babysit for 2 girls down the street for 3 hours. Verdict is out on the babysitting too. Then she came home and had a little time before 15 of her BBYO chapter mates came over for dumpling making. They all left by 9:30, and then we spent a little time getting organized for her history paper, which she has to write tomorrow.
M: Woke up and drove 35 minutes to a soccer game in Alexandria. She played most of the second half and was otherwise sitting in the chilly rain. Ugh. After, we went to a few international markets in Alexandria and bought supplies to make the dumplings here. This afternoon, we got the house and the dumpling filling ready. Then the BBYO girls came over at 7 and didn't leave til 930. Now M is working on her FREP. Long day for her too!
N: No swimming today, but he had lots of time with Daddy. They went to the library and picked out lots of books to read, then picked up A at Studio, then came home and then went to get matching haircuts from Lay. Tonight N was excited to crash the BBYO party AND to watch the first Nats pre-season Grapefruit league game (Nats won 7-6, walkoff bottom of the 9th).
Daddy and I are practically catatonic after this day.
